As Director of The Donnelly Group ,  Stephen Donnelly has extensive experience developing and delivering quality property projects across all property sectors.
 
The Donnelly Group has established itself in the mid level market with projects ranging in size from AUD$20 million to
AUD$120 million dollars over the past 25 years.
 
During that time, The Donnelly Group has worked with leading architects and consultants in delivering a variety of projects in commercial, residential and sensitive heritage buildings along with land sub divisions in excellent locations.

To date, the Group have been involved in the development of more than AUD $400 million dollars of property.

Many factors are given consideration including location, market trends, customer needs, valuations, investment level and overall profitability. This information is contained in a Project Summary prepared for the Credit Committee that forms part of the initial project investment criteria.

    The former home of the city Ice Works since 1919, the site was acquired to construct 5,400 m2 of prime office space and basement car parking and eight luxury apartments located on the roof.

    368 LITTLE COLLINS STREET, MELBOURNE
    (30 Residential Apartments) Designed by architects Fender Katsalidis, thirty new apartments were completed in 2007.

    (80 Residential Apartments) Completed in 2001 with the construction of 80 apartments and retail premises facing St Kilda Rd, Melbourne.

    529 CHAPEL STREET, SOUTH YARRA
    A mixed use retail and residential project in Melbourne’s most prominent retail strip. Donnelly Group was awarded the first VicTrack Government project over air rights in Victoria.

    Situated in the very heart of Melbourne’s Central Business District, this fine old building was transformed into 62 residential apartments designed by renowned architects Fender Katsalidis.

    131 QUEEN STREET MELBOURNE
    Commercial offices and retail banking chamber. The building was acquired for refurbishment and sub division into single floor offices in the heart of Melbourne’s central business district.

RESIDENTIAL PROJECTS
 
  • Located in the established inner city suburbs of major capital cities including Melbourne and Sydney due to increasing demand for higher density
  • Consisting of 20 to 150 apartments
  • Mix of 1 and 2 bedroom sizes ranging from 180 to 310 square feet and a smaller number of 3 bedroom apartments that are 395 square feet
  • Three to twenty floors in height
  • On freehold land, not leasehold
  • Provides a strata title ownership structure which, in Australia, is  used as a form of ownership devised for multi- level apartment blocks and horizontal subdivisions with shared areas
 
COMMERCIAL
 
Commercial projects typically consist of a group of small shops or a small office block and ground floor retail space
 
MIXED USE
 
Some projects may have both commercial and residential uses combined which is a mixed use development
